Medjool Rutab is different from Medjool dates as it is harvested/picked before the maturity stage. It is delicately hand-picked and comes in much lower quantities from dates. Rutab is considered the freshest type of Palm fruit and the most loaded in natural sugars and moisture content. Rutab also has a lower life span from dates as it has to be consumed within a maximum of 6 months from the picking date while kept frozen at all times. Rutab is normally big with a more circular shape and lighter in colour. This natural palm candy is a very rare type of fruit and has a very special taste and texture that no other fruit has. It is normally packed in 750g (25 Rutab Pieces).
